So, my friend Jess and i are a part of this project for the Indianapolis Museum of Art. they have a big sculpture park opening up this summer and one of the sculptures is by the artist Andrea Zittel. She made a floating "island" which is fiberglass igloo looking thing. She opened it up to Herron students to write proposals to live on it and Jess and mine were selected. We've been working on it for the last couple months but just launched our blog that follows construction progress. once we start living on the island in June it will be an outlet for our mental state (or deterioration)
It's been really fun to work on, and now that school is almost over i'm really excited to be working more on it.
